Trade vs. Finance Activity Download Activity Purpose: Help students separate international trade from international finance issues.  In the past, many of the international finance proposals contained content better suited for international trade.  Stimulate interest in international economics  while scaffolding complex issues. Give students practice with the "Problem-Solution" graphic organizer in order to deepen critical thinking related to identifying problems and solutions.  Students analyze new problems created with each solution identified.
